Designer.

I'm a designer with backgrounds in graphic design, UX design, and marketing. I've been in my current position as a Graphic Designer on the internal marketing team at Prairie Meadows for the past 3 years. Before that I graduated from Drake University in 2018 with majors in Graphic Design and Advertising and a minor in Musical Theatre.

I believe design is at its best when it's at the intersection of being valuable, intuitive, inclusive, and delightful. These principles are what a strive for in everything I design.

I’m looking to transition my career from Graphic Design to UX Design. I realized I want to be using my time, skills, and talents to bring some good into the world and make a difference in people's lives. UX allows me to do just that. I love that I can bring together my design skills and my affinity for creating meaningful connections through UX.

I’m passionate about helping people. I love using design to help solve problems, bring value to people, and make their lives a little easier.

One of my favorite things about design is being able to provide value for people. I love finding a problem, digging into the research and data, and using feedback from users to shape and inform my designs. Validating design through research and testing helps to ensure that the design is solving the right problem in the right way.

Corgi Lover.

Corgis are my favorite animals in the world. I love their tiny little legs, their big ‘ol ears, and their sassy attitudes.

I few months into the pandemic I fulfilled my dream and rescued a corgi of my own. Her name is Tina (short for Quaran-Tina) and she’s 7 years old. She’s very nervous, stubborn, and the sweetest girl ever.
